3D simulator boosts behind-the-wheel abilities

Northeastern virtual worlds developers have created a serious game, to help the oldest and youngest drivers sharpen up.

Here’s how it works:

“You play the Northeastern game using a keyboard and mouse. While driving with the keyboard, you use the mouse to select a cyclist, a car backing out of a driveway, a partially hidden crosswalk, or a car making a rapid lane change: anything that requires you to make a change in your speed or direction.”
